over seven million people in Somalia are currently effected by the drought, Reuters September, 18, 2022 By: Adia murshid food and water are the basic four elements for human survival together with air and shelter, over the centuries humans cultivated and revolutionized their food chains, rations and production styles to fight hunger and poverty- and for luxury, in what leads to globally, one-third of food produced worldwide for human consumption is either waste or lost . This amounts to about 1.3 billion tons per year, worth approximately 1 trillion of US dollar . on the other side of the world, dozens of people in developing world are everyday suffering to bring food on their plates and access clean water in their homes.
